Default for CVSup fans

For those who use CVSup to synchronize local source trees, note that there is movement to retire this method. The following post on ports@ is not the first on this subject, but is the latest word:

AnonCVS is still a viable alternative.

I've been following the story with only mild interest. I was a CVSup user, once upon a time.

I have kept a local repository with CVSync for years now, as I check out source trees at different levels frequently enough to justify the space. Plus I find $ grep <key> /cvs/CVSROOT/Changelog* the easiest way to look for patches of interest.
