FreeNAS 8.2.0 beta 2 enables plugins
With the release of FreeNAS 8.2.0 beta 2 with support for plugins, the FreeNAS developers have moved a step closer to releasing a multimedia-supporting version of the FreeBSD-based operating system for Network Attached Storage. "It's been a long road, and it's not anywhere close to being done but FreeNAS is a step closer to a release with plugins", the developers say in the announcement.
