I noticed my httpd server is running times 8 atm.
Please explain this to me? From my experience a server cannot be run simultanius unless the port differ. |

If you mean the number of httpd entries in the process table, as reported by ps, top, etc. It might be worth noting that Apache is a multiple process based thing for performance reasons, and the number of httpd's forked can be configured through the configuration file.
