Eclipse can't update ?
Hi everyone,
I installed eclipse 3.4 from ports, but unfortunately, I can't get eclipse to update... I keep getting the error of "No repository found at http://download.eclipse.org/releases/ganymede/site.xml Error reading update site http://download.eclipse.org/releases/ganymede/site.xml. Invalid argument" When I go help|software updates| available software and tick the main release checkbox Does anyone know why my eclipse can't connect to the internet? Also, has anyone been sucessful to get eclipse compatible on ajax? NOTE THAT I HAVE EVEN TRIED AS ROOT Thanks Last edited by disappearedng; 2nd November 2008 at 11:15 PM.

Are you running a proxy server?
Sometimes you may have to configure single applications to use a proxy server for your internet.
