Another question on Apache.
The SQL Client for Apache is for MYSQL version 5.x. I want to run MYSQL 5.1.x. The client conflicts. I can remove the default apache client and then install the MYSQL client. How do I know that apache will be compat with the latest 5.1.x client? Is it best to install MYSQL first and then compile/install apache? Regards |

Have you updated your ports tree?
There is a mysql-5.1-client and mysql-5.1-server, so there should be no problem with compatibility when you install them
