suggestions for client for google calendar
Hello,
I wish to have my Google calendar throw notifications at me in xfce4. I was looking at calendar applications. Orage seems to be dead. Gnome-calendar /usr/ports/x11/gnome/calendar doesn't compile because cmake doesn't compile, throwing: Missing library for jsoncpp>=0.0 Missing library for rhash>=0.0 I am confident that I have pulled the correct ports tree this time around. Does anyone have suggestions for a calendar that can sync with Google calendar? |

Thank you jgimmi. I am using OpenBSD 7.1 GENERIC.MP#3 amd64.
After your comment I realised that the package was called gnome-calendar and not calendar. I did a #pkg_add. However gnome-calendar seems to be broken (from upstream). Clicking on the menu for "add online accounts" does nothing, no errors, no messages. The reason I am confident that it is broken from upstream is because of a lot of linux distribution users facing similar issues. To resolve I tried installing evolution and gnome-keyring. Didn't work either. Is there any other calendar that the community uses to sync their subscribed google calendars? |
