Pf need natd?
This maybe a stupid question, but I cant seem to find a clear answer anyware.
Does PF need natd running to utilize nat? or does it have a buildin nat "server" of its own

NAT has been a part of pf for a long time .

You don't need to be a genius to debug a pf.conf firewall ruleset, you just need the guts to run tcpdump
