Anyone know if /gettext/ can be migrated to /gettext6/ gettext8/ etc?

so one can install simutaneously and not worry when
the version undergoes a major change. Then the
ports bumping can occur as the ports are bumped.

using /LOOKAT/ with /var/db/pkg files and portmaster/aliases/pipes/find/grep to meteorically speedup port upgrades/installs...
