Openbsd 42 | 43 stabel
I listen music. When i insert my headphones i listen music only via loudspeaker. Why ?

Headphone use depends on how headphones are configured with your audio hardware.
There may or may not be any software configuration possible. If software is involved, read FAQ 13.1. It describes setting up audio, and includes a brief discussion of headphone output and mixerctl(1).

If your system has a dedicated headphones jack, it may be auto-muted by default..
Type: $ mixerctl -a | grep headphonesIf outputs.headphones.mute is "on", set it to "off", and attempt to adjust the volume if it's too low. Note, If this is the headphones jack on your CD/DVD-ROM drive, make sure you connected the internal analog audio cable to your sound card. Hope that helps. |
