Significance of "nb" in binary package name?

I was perusing the NetBSD package binaries and noticed that some are tagged with "nb"
For example:

http://mirror.planetunix.net/pub/Net...9wm-1.1nb2.tgz

What does "nb" signify and are these packages preferable over non-nb packages?
