Is there a way of configuring Alpine to send my username and password to my ISP smtp server?
# List of SMTP servers for sending mail. If blank: Unix Pine uses sendmai$ smtp-server=smtpauth.earthlink.net:587 Every time i send a message I have to provide my username and pass over and over.

http://wijeyesakere.com/tech/tech/alpinemail.html Have you figured out how to retrieve email from earthlink? I am just tackling outgoing mail. Just got retrieving emails to work Quote:
'pop.earthlink.net' instead of 'mail.earthlink.net' in the above inbox-path Last edited by shep; 1st March 2011 at 05:14 AM. Reason: (1)added password link (2)added retrieve email |
