I installed portupgrade
cd /usr/ports/ports-mgmt/portupgrade/ && make install clean Configuration Options Code:
===> The following configuration options are available for portupgrade-2.4.6,2:
BDB4=on (default) "Use Berkeley DB >=2 as backend"
BDB1=off (default) "Use Berkeley DB 1.85 as backend"
===> Use 'make config' to modify these settings
I have left the default on BDB4=on (default) "Use Berkeley DB >=2 as backend" Is this going to be a problem or is it the better option.

Just use BDB4, AFAIK BDB is pretty outdated...
