libmap.conf
hi
do I really need libmap.conf in freeBSD 7, for example for a seamonkey or firefox plugins ? I have nspluginwrapper installed but cannot find libmap.conf example file.

You only need /etc/libmap.conf on FreeBSD 7 if you are running binaries compiled for FreeBSD 4, FreeBSD 5, or FreeBSD 6 that are looking for libc_r or libkse. If you don't get error about missing threadings libs when you start applications, then you don't need la libmap.conf.
