Hopefully such shameless self-promotion as this isn't frowned upon here, but I recently wrote a shell script to implement effective dynamic DNS for Gandi.net domain names. I have a dynamic IP address at home and was getting a bit frustrated with it, so I threw this together one weekend. There are Python, etc. XML-RPC libraries available but I guess I'm a bit masochistic so I did this in the shell. Hopefully it can help someone else who uses Gandi for DNS.
gandi-automatic-dns Questions, comments, derision, thread deletion, etc. are all welcome.

As long as a "shameless self-promotion" is useful for others we don't frown upon it
![]() I posted quite a lot of my scripts here on the forum and nobody complained about it yet..... Why don't you write a little guide or howto for your script for our Howto/Guides section? Attach the script and for download and mention the google code url as reference for the latest version. That way people still can use, study or hack on your code when google goes bankrupt or when the FBI seizes the code.google.com domain for whatever creative reason they may come up with

Not sure how much of a guide it is, but I created a thread for it here.
By the by, I love your signature, J65nko. I've taken quite a liking to tcpdump lately.
