Virtio Support :: OpenBSD
I know that FreeBSD offers virtio drivers as per their ports system. What this tells me is that there are likely no virtio drivers for OpenBSD. I have scoured the internet looking for the possibility, but finding nothing.
On the off chance that I might be wrong, I thought I would ask if anyone has had any experience getting OpenBSD to work with a virtio networking device. The implementation I have in mind is to run an OpenBSD VM in qemu-kvm and for my parent server, virtio networking is essential. Thanks in advance for any input or ideas.

The only paravirtualization support in OpenBSD, to my knowledge, is for limited VMWare interoperability.

There are rudimentary virtio drivers in the NetBSD tree, see
cvsweb.netbsd.org/bsdweb.cgi/src/sys/dev/pci/virtio.c (and associated files) That could be a starting point ... (I have to mangle my URLs because I don't have 5 posts)
