I use the RefControl extension for Firefox and can selectively enable/disable sending refers, as unfortunately some sites are broken and rely on them.

There is just a button builtin Opera that also does that:
You also have buttons for enable/disable plugins, Javascript, etc. You can also enable/disable it per-site basis using "Edit site preferences". Opera doesn't need no stinkin' add-ons

Hooray, I'm in an example image.. sucks that I'm not using an awesome super magically delicious proprietary browser, how will I sleep at night.

I know about the buttons in the Appearance dialog box, but I get a checkbox plus 2 or 3 words, whereas using the method I mentioned I get a "two-state" button with the link/bookmark name as caption. So in just about 50 pixels, I get "Ref" and "JS".
