C F Card and fstab
Would like to try installing on a cf card using an ide adaptor but there may be times when I would have to use a usb adaptor to plug it into a different machine. Is it possible to get round the fstab device name problem with out having to edit it to suite each time.

Have a look at glabel(8). Should do what you want.
