Java JDK & JRE binary packages available for FBSD 6.3 & 7.0
According to the July newsletter of the FreeBSD Foundation binary packages of Java 1.6 are now available for FreeBSD 6.3 & 7 at

Currently only tarballs are available for download. They are not packages and cannot be installed using 'pkg_add' like written on the page.
Furthermore, ports are still not available, so you can't use these either. According to the freebsd-java ML it will take 'a few days' for the ports to arrive.

I currently have diablo-jdk-1.5 installed and jdk16. If I migrate to diablo-jdk-1.6 when ports are available, would I still need either.
