Midnight Commander slow on startup
I installed e very minimal FreeBSD installation (Apache plus PostgreSQL), with no graphics user interface.
Is it normal Midnight Commander is really slow starting up? sorry for my bad english thanks ;-) uname - a: FreeBSD FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE #0: Sun Feb 24 19:59:52 UTC 2008 root@logan.cse.buffalo.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC i386 Last edited by MacApp; 9th July 2008 at 02:18 AM.

on my virtual machine (handled by Paralles on Mac OS X 10.4.11) mc startup is ok, on my coustomer server machine the startup is very slow (about 30 seconds). For other things, for example webserving and database it is really fast ;-)
thanks MacApp ps. wow i tested right now and it is fast on the server too! Was it a "rodaggio"?
