Default Semi Modern

Just downloaded it, burned it to a disk, and ran it. Never had used it before. It seems pretty functional to me, based on a ten minute test drive. First impression is that it's on par with the Lubuntu LiveCD, functionality-wise. But, the Firefox 16 is a little dated :-)

Firefox won't access some sites (probably due to the older local certificate cache, SSL versions, etc). It looks like the Firefox 16 build is using SSL3 (kind of a relic), and a couple of the older cipher suites. I wouldn't do my banking with it, but for general surfing habits, I might sometimes find myself using it.

It's using NetBSD 6.
