experimental development version of FreeBSD under
heavy active development.
Packages may not always be available, and packages that are available are not guaranteed to work.
You can get a list of available packages for each FreeBSD version at
http://pointyhat.freebsd.org/
You can try using ports, which also aren't guaranteed to work on CURRENT.
FreeBSD-9-CURRENT is intended for FreeBSD developers and advanced users, you may want to consider using FreeBSD 8.1 instead. This is the latest stable version recommended for general use.
