I think I had an account on BSDForums but never posted and only visited a hand full of times because of how big it was.
So I am new to this forum ;-)

yeah, Phoenix's post count is simply astounding.
I must also mention that some of the earlier threads during the first few years of bsdforum (that's before I joined) were really interesting.

I used to visit bsdforums semiregularly, trying to answer Xorg and DRI questions whenever possible.

I registered an account there quite long ago but I rarely visited that board.
Logged in once a month i think. Not often.

Yes, former reader and poster on the old site. It was a wonderful resource back when it started and up until about, what, a year ago or so? This place is doubtlessly its spiritual successor.

yep, "the other place" was an old stomping ground, but this one firmly replaced it.

Yeah, it's amazing how quickly the post count went up in the early years. There were very few "experts" or "advanced" users on that board in the early days, and I posted in just about every thread that was started. Over the years, others came onboard and I was able to become more of a reader than a writer. :)
Over here, there are quite a few "expert" and "advanced" users that respond in threads, so my post count won't grow nearly as fast. :D
Isn't laziness the sign of a good admin? :)
